Traveling is such an incredible experience and can be other-worldly. The sensation of a new environment filled with a change of scenery, different aromas, and unfamiliar tastes can leave one in a transported state. There is beauty traveling to a local park or to a far off country.
Of course in order to travel, one does need the time and money to be able to do so. But what if I told you there is a way you can do it for very little money? No, I am not scamming you or work for a travel agency. I have had the benefit of traveling to a few countries, but also other worlds.
Books are such beautiful things. A combination of different words can bring you to a magical land of wizards fighting to defeat evil, or to a poor young girl surviving the difficulties of the holocaust, or to a perfectly romantic story set in the early 1800’s. The allurement of strategically combined words is such an incredible wonder.
I encourage you to travel the world, or other worlds. The freedom a book allows you to see what it has already pictured for you, yet allow some room to the imagination is such a unique occurrence. So, go read that book that’s been sitting in your room for ages and take a trip.
