“Faith is no substitute for planning. There may be sometimes when we can’t plan, but we should never reject planning.” God is not a genie and we shouldn’t expect him to bless our prayers if we are not willing to put forth the effort. Don’t just talk — take action. Don’t just pray — prepare. I very much needed this today! Nehemiah 2:5-11

“The only day to live for God is today.” You’ll definitely want to read this last blog post, not because I wrote it, but because it’s mainly points and thoughts given by my dads New Years bible lesson. So many good reminders that I know I needed! 😄

The Why

To me, it’s vital to enjoy your work. The fact that work and fun is integrated together into writing and photography is a dream.

The way in which I can relate to people and express various emotions through writing is therapeutic. The relationships developed with my clients is truly priceless. I still keep in touch with clients that live elsewhere and it is such a beautiful way to get to know people — by unveiling their personalities through a photoshoot.

Receiving feedback about my writing and photography helps remind me why I am doing it — for you!
