“Faith is no substitute for planning. There may be sometimes when we can’t plan, but we should never reject planning.” God is not a genie and we shouldn’t expect him to bless our prayers if we are not willing to put forth the effort. Don’t just talk — take action. Don’t just pray — prepare. I very much needed this today! Nehemiah 2:5-11

Attitude is not the root problem. This is a result that stems from one’s thought life. When you let a culmination of thoughts brew together, it will indubitably formulate the expected result. So, if a bunch of negative, bitter thoughts are brewed together, you cannot expect a positive outcome, right?
At times, I find myself frustrated that my result is that of a negative attitude, but I shouldn’t be surprised if the thoughts I fed myself were toxic.
In order to achieve a positive result, I must not only think positive things but replace the negative. When that thought of comparison, bitterness, or hatred comes up, replace it with a thought of worth, forgiveness, or love.
So, in short, I must do three things to ensure a right mindset.
Examine. Reset. Replace.
