Usually starting fresh has a good connotation.
The new year is the perfect time to set new goals and reset one’s focus.
There is a natural motivation and urge to tackle that project you’ve been wanting to start.
But, the daunting reality of having to restart something when progress has already been made can be more than frustrating.
Have you ever been working on a project for school, and your computer stalled?
Mini heart attack, right?
Frustration. Annoyance.
Well, when I fail God, I often feel this way. It seems that all my “progress” has been erased, and I need to start over and try to regain favor with Him.
In reality, when God forgives, He doesn’t hold it over me; He gladly welcomes me back and continues to give me that millionth chance I don’t deserve.
